The
video below was shot just a few days after Eliza's surgery. How many
spine patients can relate to these feelings?

Diane's
ADR surgery |
|
Dear
Mark,
We are so
glad to hear she is on the mend! Our thoughts are with you
both.
Last weekend
I went snowboarding for the first time in 3 years and it felt
GREAT! I'm also training for the AIDS Lifecycle with the goal
of biking every day of the ride (not necessarily biking every
mile). My longest training ride so far is 55 miles and I've
done nearly 80 miles in a weekend. So please let Diane know
that even 3 levels can bounce back fully. I'm no longer taking
any pain meds and fully enjoying finally, finally being active
again. Woo hoo!
Will visit
the blog when I'm back online.

Update on AIDS
Lifecycle! |
|
Mark,
Just a quick
update on the AIDS LifeCycle -- I achieved my goal of riding
every day, and ended up pedaling 510
of the 545 miles (only missed the final 35
miles on day 2). So hard to believe, and yet... Here
I am!

here... every time I walked into Eliza's room, I saw the cane
and wondered if this was a thing of the past???
I don't know if she had a cane destruction ceremony or not. My guess
is that there was a great party!

Just in case you missed
it above... here it is again... no cane!
