Wallis

Wallis Dynamic Stabilization

Wallis off-loads the disc and facet joints and restores normal biomechanics in the moderately degerative motion segment. It is a minimally invasive, nondestructive and low-risk surgery. Its outcomes compare favorably with spinal fusion and disc replacement.

The Wallis implant is the second generation of a system that yielded good long-term results, which Professor Senegas developed in the 1980s. The Wallis Stabilization System has a flatter band, which distributes loads more effectively and has a new interspinous spacer made from polyetheretherketone (PEEK).
